The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has removed requirements for students and staff to wear face coverings/masks on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems. Osseo Area Schools will follow this new direction on its school buses and other district-provided transportation starting Tuesday, March 1.
Face coverings/masks will still be required on early quarantine or isolation returns on buses and in schools (day six, seven, eight, nine, or ten); and in health offices and isolation rooms.
Osseo Area Schools adjusted its COVID-19 Preparedness Plan to face coverings/masks recommended (not required) for all students, staff and visitors late last week. As shared then, each student’s and staff member’s individual choice on face coverings/masks will be supported. Please continue to visit the COVID-19 Hub for the latest information.
